Check out the latest addition to Aynho’s web site with the sports field and pavilion now having its own section having being re-named as Aynho Active. There’s loads of interesting and useful background, including the fact the pavilion was opened by Dennis Compton in 1980.
And if you’d like to know more, such as how to hire the Sports field and Pavilion, join the Park Club Draw or share your views contact Rachel Moroney (07801 673354) or Valery Taylor (07982 741968) or email email@example.com. They’d love to hear from you!

Every month you’ll have a chance of winning a payout (currently £85) and the rest of the money goes towards maintaining the sports pavilion and field. Recently this has paid for new windows in the whole building and security items. If you’d like to pay the £12 by bank transfer the details are

I will be standing in for Anita at the café on Thursday 9th June.
You don’t have to be in the walking groups to come along. In the hope of some sun that day, I think I’ll do a Ploughman’s Lunch, Salad Bar and Cream teas. The Café will be open from 10am until 2pm. If you are missing the Winter Lunch Club why not come along between 1pm and 2pm for lunch after the walkers have gone when there will be more room for everyone.
You can ring me on 0330 113 6008 (landline) if it would help you to reserve a table. Kay
This is a plea to all those who use the amenity track for running, cycling, jogging, walking, skating etc. We are aiming to have a maintenance afternoon on Saturday 16th April when the clean up day is. If you value this facility and want to keep using it, please come and join us with a broom and a spade and gloves.
Thank you, Kay
OPEN for BUSINESS Thursday 3rd & Thursday 10th March 10.0am – 3.0pm COFFEE, CAKES, LUNCH, SNACKS, HOT & COLD DRINKS (I’m covering for Anita while she is away, please come along for a chat and some food – Kay)
Anyone want to join me on a Friday morning 9am for a walk/jog/run around the track. I’m aware there are quite a few people using the track for fitness and wonder if we can all support and motivate each other?
Contact me on email@example.com or 0330 113 6008 if you are interested. Also…….
I’m planning on a track tidy up sometime in March when we have a dry day. Look out for the sign at the gate and if you use the track please come and help. It will involve sweeping and making the track safe for all users. You’ll need to bring a broom. Once swept, I can then weed kill the edges.
